SIDE by SIDES permitted on OFATV Trails!!

The firm providing the liability insurance coverage for all OFATV club trails has agreed to cover Side by Sides! This means that as a member of an OFATV club you are permitted to use OFATV club trails and are covered by our insurer.
The only drawback is that the Ontario Ministry of Transportation has not seen fit to recognize the UTVs the same as ATVs and therefore you are not legally permitted on provincial, county or township roads even if there is a by-law permitting ATVs.
So please use common sense and conduct your riding accordingly. The OFATV or the local clubs cannot support you if you are caught and charged for driving on roads.

Hello, I live South of Ottawa and am looking for a place to enjoy my Argo, i tried to find the information within your forum, but looks like nobody has replied to the gentleman by the name of "soggybottomboy". I am very interested in knowing if the UTV's are allowed and would be very happy to help and volunteer with trail maintenance. I get my argo serviced at St. Lawrence Marina and seems odd that ODG would place a dealer in an area where they cannot use their product.
